Foster Process & Application
Are you ready to open up your home and heart?
There are so many dogs that need rescuing and you are the key to saving them. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Complete a Foster Home Application here
Step 2: Our Foster Manager will contact you to learn more about you and answer any questions you may have. Once approved, you will be added to a group chat dedicated to fosters in your area, Bend, Portland, Seattle or San Francisco.
Step 3: Dogs needing foster homes will be posted in the chat with any known details. You can raise your hand to foster when the dog and time are right for you.

Why Foster?
Fostering a dog is a fun and rewarding experience for a number of reasons:
LOVE: The foster dog learns they are loved. Watching a dog that has been on the streets, neglected or abused enter your loving home is a magical and beautiful thing.
LOYAL: They are endlessly grateful to the family who welcomes them in.
FLEXIBLE: Fostering is flexible. Fostering can be for a day, a weekend or longer term depending on the situation.
FUN: There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a former street dog come out of their shell and become the dog they always wanted to be!
REWARDING: When you get to see your foster pup go home to their loving family and start a new life it is one of the most heart-warming experiences. It is so rewarding knowing you made that happen!
