Clinics

Did you know that the average female dog can have three litters per year with typically eight puppies per litter? That equates to 24 puppies a year, and over the course of a 6-year lifespan, is 144 puppies. Now, assume half of those are female. That one dog and her 144 puppies just produced 66,450 dogs!

But, with your help, we can reduce that number. Street Dog Hero concentrates our efforts where animals are least likely to receive essential care due to financial, geographic, and cultural barriers. Street Dog Hero is committed to providing help where the need is the greatest – and this means offering free resources to populations with limited to no access to affordable spay/neuter services and basic veterinary care.

Local Clinics

We provide monthly free and low cost spay/neuter and wellness clinics in Central Oregon from our facility based in Bend, OR. These programs are geared towards lower income or rural communities that have limited to no access to affordable spay/neuter services and basic veterinary care.

We provide additional assistance to pet owners in need through pet food and supply banks to help keep animals safe, healthy, and a part of the family.

International Clinics

We provide free spay/neuter and wellness clinics in impoverished neighborhoods throughout Mexico several times a year. This program is aimed at the heart of the overpopulation crisis in an effort to reduce the number of animals that require rescuing. A big thanks to Tito’s Handmade Vodka for being a sponsor for these clinics!
